This innovative studio, supplied, designed, and built by APG Media, marks a significant advancement in the Vancouver film market's virtual production capabilities.
The new Vancouver studio for Lumostage boasts an impressive LED Volume comprising 418 tiles, supplied, designed, and installed by APG Media. Featuring a hybrid setup, the studio includes a 70-tile LED ceiling on a motorized lift system, a large curved 308-tile LED ground video wall, and a 40-tile mobile LED wall. These LED videowalls utilize HyperPixel 2.6mm LED technology, powered by Brompton SX40 and XD video processors, ensuring unparalleled visual quality and performance.
To ensure precise installation and optimal performance, APG Media utilized their custom-designed ceiling mounting grid, guaranteeing a tight and perfectly flat LED ceiling surface. APG's comprehensive services encompassed the design and installation of the entire system, including the ceiling rig, power requirements, and integration of Brompton processors.
