TORONTO, CANADA – 21st April 2023 – APG Media, a leading provider of audiovisual solutions, is excited to announce its partnership with Humber College to develop and launch a groundbreaking multiplayer, VR, and PC-based virtual production application. This collaborative effort aims to assist with LED stage design and enhance educational experiences for virtual production users.
The newly launched application offers two powerful tools designed to meet the needs of prospective clients and educational institutions:
Educational LED Volume Walk-Through: This feature allows users to experience a virtual LED volume used for virtual production from anywhere in the world. Guided by an AI-generated voice, users can explore key components of the volume, including the Brain Bar, Motion Tracking System, LED Wall, LED Tile, and Electrical Distribution. Prospective clients and educational institutions interested in virtual production education are invited to request this free app via the contact page on APG Media's website, enabling students and staff to immerse themselves via a PC or Quest Headset.
Custom VP Volume Design: Prospective clients of APG Media can now visualize a full mock-up of a potential virtual production volume tailored to their space, specifications, and needs. This tool allows clients to view their space via a PC or Quest Headset, providing a comprehensive understanding of their future volume designed by APG Media.
