APG Media Constructs State-of-the-Art LED Stage for Virtual Production House in Toronto
TORONTO, CANADA – 15th October 2022 – APG Media, a leading provider of virtual production solutions, is thrilled to announce the completion of a cutting-edge LED Stage for Virtual Production House (VP House) by The Other End in Toronto, Canada. This state-of-the-art studio, supplied, designed, and built by APG Media, is poised to revolutionize virtual production capabilities in the region.
The new Toronto studio for VP House features an LED stage comprising 408 tiles, meticulously chosen after extensive testing. APG's HyperPixel 2.6mm LED displays were selected for their ground-up design specifically tailored for virtual production, ensuring unparalleled visual quality and performance.
At the heart of the studio is a dynamic setup, including a 100-tile LED ceiling on a motorized lift system and a curved 308-tile LED ground video wall. Powered by Brompton SX40 and XD video processors, these LED videowalls deliver exceptional clarity and realism, setting a new standard for virtual production environments.
To ensure precise installation and optimal performance, APG utilized their proprietary custom-designed ceiling mounting grid, guaranteeing a tight and perfectly flat LED ceiling surface. APG's comprehensive services encompassed the design and installation of the entire system, including the ceiling rig, power requirements, and integration of Brompton processors.
